isabel & sam

So we did end up in the hospital at the same time! Sam came on the 28th and Isabel on the 30th. How fun! We did byob (bring your own baby) yoga this summer and had a great time!

2 week photos

Here are some of Sam's 2 week old photos, so hard to believe! He is a joy and is such a good baby. Lots of smiles and fun expressions, even the serious grunt-y ones. He's already been to Liberty Frozen Custard twice (thanks to his Grandpa Bluhm). He loves cuddling, spreading his arms and legs out as far as he can, and exploring every room he is in with his big blue eyes. He has really cute little biceps and shoulders....ok, I could go on and on!

Thanks to everyone for your love and support!
Love,
Amy, Patrick, Sam, and Maggie (the dog)

Samuel Burr Cheever arrived Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 9:42pm!

Hello everybody! Wow, I am so excited right now it's hard to find the words to write! Samuel Burr Cheever joined this crazy rat race we call life at 9:42PM Saturday, June 28th. He's a handsome little devil with a quick wit and astonishing upper body strength. Weighing in at a wopping 9lbs 9oz. and 22" long, he is sure to crush the competition. He loves nothing more than to squeal, eat, sleep and poop. Amy endured a 21hr. labor ending in a c-section. She is recovering very well, albeit extremely tired and sore. I (husband) have endured essentially nothing except some stress and sleep deprivation, but still, am ready for an ice cold beer! Anyway, here are a couple of pictures.

Take care,
Patrick
